Our origonal founding members, Mark R. Weaver, Mark F. O'Connor, Simon Bennison and Nicolas Fisctel, came together in 1991 where our Senior Partner, Mark R. Weaver, was introducing his AutoCad Software Program, Light "Works".

Light "Works" was the focus of Marks Graduate Thesis and incorporated dBase data files to manage the plots paperwork. The information was seemless between the drawing and the database. Back then our company was called, Technical Art "Works".

Our philosophy has always been an inclusive one. We work as a collective of independent designers and professionals in the lighting industry who pool resources, talents and specialties in a broad range of disciplines; from Off-Broadway to broadcast television, live corporate events to theme parks, and trade shows to retail architecture. This multi-discipline and networked approach to reDesigning the traditional top-down design firm results in unique streemlined solutions and maximizes value for our clients. If you’ve recently been to a Disney theme park, watched television, stepped into a Las Vegas Casino or enjoyed an Off-Broadway show, you’ve probably seen our work first hand, but that’s just the beginning.

We also create designs for corporate theater, live entertainment, themed environments, trade-shows, special events and HD television broadcasts. Our sole focus is to provide world class organizations like yours with the highest quality and most cost affective lighting design and video service solutions, hands down.

The antiquated business model of older lighting design groups is weighed down with commitments to the top of their food chain and that wasteful structure is thankfully dying. Our structure is nimble, expansive, efficient and ensures that our clients get just what they need. No smoke and mirrors, just great lighting.
